Regulations
A product that fulfils the function of a building also counts as a building (Act 283/2021 Sb., § 5 odst. 1), and the building authority (stavební úřad) decides each case. In planning, plots of public campsites count as recreation areas (Decree 157/2024 Sb., § 16 odst. 2). A permit is required except for minor buildings (§ 171); buildings for living and for family recreation are not minor buildings, except one up to 55 m² and 4 m high on a plot zoned for recreation (Annex 1, para. 1 a) point 4). A permitted building is used on the basis of an occupancy decision (kolaudační rozhodnutí) and only for the purpose set in it (§ 230 odst. 1). Renting to tourists is the free trade «Ubytovací služby» (Act 455/1991 Sb., § 25 odst. 1); the host pays the municipal stay fee, keeps a guest register (Act 565/1990 Sb., § 3a and § 3g) and reports foreign guests to the police within three working days (Act 326/1999 Sb., § 102 odst. 1). Transport
Transport to the Czech Republic is organised by Mobile Home Logistic, the partner logistics company of the same group that transports Green Village homes. It is included in the price delivered to the Czech Republic that every unit shows, and the home is insured at 100 % of its value. Homes are usually 3–4 m wide, so the access road and the plot entrance are checked before delivery. The buyer provides access to the plot and room to unload.

The price of a mobile home depends mainly on the year, the size (British listings are in feet — 35 × 12 ft is about 10.7 × 3.7 m), the number of bedrooms, whether it is built for year-round or seasonal use, and its condition. Prices delivered to the Czech Republic start from €11,850; every unit shows its own price, and new homes, lodges and tiny houses have their own «from» price in the catalogue. The delivered price includes transport. VAT is extra and, on delivery to the Czech Republic, the Czech standard rate of 21 % applies (Act 235/2004 Sb., § 47 odst. 1). Prices are in euros. Also budget for what is yours to arrange: the plot, the ground base, utilities (electricity and water), wastewater and local taxes and fees.
Installation
The home stands on its own chassis and needs a level, load-bearing base: a concrete slab, compacted gravel or concrete blocks. In the Czech Republic plan for winter: snow load in the Krkonoše and Šumava hills, frost, wind on exposed plots and, near lakes and reservoirs, a high water table, so the base should drain well and the chassis stay clear of the ground. Without mains drainage a septic tank or a small treatment plant is needed. Bring electricity and water to the plot before delivery, and ask the building authority what your plot requires.
