What to check on a used Rapidhome
Note the exact model code (LO, EL or ER followed by the number) from the original documents: two Lodges of similar size can have 2 or 3 bedrooms and a different capacity.
Tell the rental version from the residential one: a home rented out on a campsite has often seen heavier use.
Inspect the chassis, the floor (soft spots near the shower room and the doors), the roof and the window seals, and have the gas installation, the water heater and the electrics checked.
For use out of season, look at the insulation, the glazing and the heating; on an Élite, also check whether the model has the panoramic lounge, which changes how light the living area is.
