Which countries does Green Village deliver to?
We deliver to Portugal, Spain, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria and Malta; deliveries outside Europe (for example Brazil) are quoted on request.
How much does delivery cost?
It depends on the destination and the size of the unit. Each listing shows a delivered price, and for any other European destination Green Village quotes the delivered price with the delivery address.
Are there customs duties inside the EU?
No — mobile homes move duty-free between EU countries, and VAT is charged in the destination country. Any import duty (for example on units from the United Kingdom) is already included in the delivered price.
Can I see the homes before buying?
Mobile homes can be seen at Green Village's main store in Maia (Portugal), the Ribeirinha showroom (Azores, Portugal), the Vigo showroom (Spain, Tuesday to Saturday) and La Séguinière (France, by appointment); whether a specific unit can be viewed depends on where it is, so ask via its listing. Every listing has photos and some units offer a 3D tour.
What documents come with a used mobile home or static caravan?
Used units come with the manufacturer's data plate / compliance certificate and, where applicable, proof of de-registration from the origin site. Green Village provides the commercial invoice and the export paperwork customs requires.
What should I check before buying a used static caravan, lodge or park home?
The build standard first (EN 1647 for seasonal use, BS 3632 for 12-month use subject to the site licence), then chassis condition, floor and roof insulation, age against visible wear, double glazing and the heating system. Listings show the build year where we have it.
Does the price include transport and installation?
Yes. The delivered price on each listing includes transport, organised by Mobile Home Logistic, customs clearance and installation/levelling at your plot or park; the specifics vary by unit and destination.
Is there a maximum age for a used mobile home?
Many parks apply an age-limit policy, often 10–15 years for caravans and sometimes longer for lodges, so read the park's written policy if the unit will stand on a park. On your own plot, condition matters as much as age.
What's the difference between a static caravan, a lodge and a park home?
They differ mainly in build standard and use: a static caravan (holiday home) is usually built to EN 1647 for seasonal stays, a park home to BS 3632 for 12-month living subject to the site licence, and a lodge — the larger, better-finished unit — can follow either standard.
