The container homes Green Village sells are factory-built housing modules with the footprint of a 10-, 20-, 30- or 40-foot container. They travel compact and open out on site to their full floor area: the expandable models open sideways and the folding ones unfold. A 10-foot expandable module has about 18.5 m² and one bedroom; a 20-foot one about 37 m² with one or two bedrooms; a 40-foot double-wing module about 72 m² with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two units side by side or stacked with an inside staircase reach 144 m², or 184 m² with the triangular-roof models. There are also homes converted from a new 40HQ shipping container (ISBU), of about 28–30 m², and 5.8 m flat-pack folding units for site offices or temporary housing.
