Shown room by room before the trip: the used Salisbury Adriana received in Guimarães

In short: in December 2024 we delivered a used Salisbury, cream with green shutters and a glazed front, to Adriana on a plot in Guimarães, in the north of Portugal. On the day the home left for the trip, Clara, from the Green Village team, showed it on video room by room, from the twin-bed room to the living room, and explained what had been renewed. The delivery was booked for 2 December.
The home shown before the trip
Adriana’s Salisbury was at the display site Green Village had in Leiria in 2024. On the day it left for Guimarães, Clara filmed the full tour: “Today I’m going to show you client Adriana’s home, which is being transported today,” she says at the start of the video (translated from Portuguese). The video shows the inside of the home, one room after another, before it reached the plot.

Transport to the plot was organised by Mobile Home Logistic, the partner logistics company of the same group, insured to 100 % and included in the price.
What Clara showed, room by room
The tour starts at the home’s second entrance, where the single room is, with two beds and “plenty of space for storage”. Next comes the main bedroom, also with storage. The bathroom serves both sides: it opens from the bedroom, as an en suite, and from the corridor, for guests. “All the flooring in this home was replaced,” Clara says, and in the bathroom the floor is floating, marble-effect and waterproof.
The kitchen has plenty of storage, a hob and a combination oven, and space to fit a fridge or a washing machine. The tour ends in the living room, by the glazed front: “very bright”, in Clara’s words.
Arriving in Guimarães
In December 2024, the Salisbury reached Adriana’s plot, on a hillside, and was set down on the block supports that were already in place. The last photo of this route in the gallery shows the home in its spot, with the living-room windows open.
What stayed with the client
Green Village does not install homes: the mobile home is delivered and set down on its supports, without levelling. These always stay with the buyer:
- the base and the levelling — here, the block supports on Adriana’s plot;
- the water, waste, gas and electricity connections;
- any licences the municipality requires for the plot.
What this delivery teaches
- Ask to see the home on video before the trip. Adriana’s home was shown room by room on the very day it left.
- A used home can arrive renewed. In this one, all the flooring was replaced before delivery.
- Look at the layout, not just the front. A bathroom reached from the bedroom and from the corridor serves both the family and guests.
- The base is ready before the home arrives. The block supports were already on the plot when the Salisbury arrived.
- Know what warranty the home has. A used home carries an 18-month legal guarantee, with no commercial warranty; a new home has the 3-year legal guarantee and a 10-year commercial warranty on the structure and against water ingress.
