A 2002 Atlas among the hills of Montalegre: handing the keys to Zé Pedro

By Matheus Agueda · 3 November 2026

In short: on 6 April 2024 we delivered a used 2002 Atlas mobile home from the United Kingdom to Zé Pedro in Viade de Baixo, in the municipality of Montalegre, northern Portugal: beige with a brown trim, and a Victorian-style interior in strong colours. The home left at around 7 in the morning and reached the plot, open ground among the hills, where Zé Pedro had already built a concrete base. Green Village founder Matheus Agueda handed him the keys at the door. Three videos on Green Village’s TikTok and one on YouTube tell the story of that day.

From the United Kingdom to Montalegre

In the videos published that day, Matheus introduces the home: a 2002 Atlas with a Victorian-style interior in strong colours, “a very different home”. The video captions sum up the trip: straight from the United Kingdom to Montalegre.

Transport from the United Kingdom was organised by Mobile Home Logistic, the partner logistics company of the same group, insured to 100 % and included in the price of the home.

Delivery day

The home left early, at around 7 in the morning, for Montalegre. In Viade de Baixo, Zé Pedro’s plot was ready: he had built the concrete base and already had the blocks Green Village recommends for the home’s supports. In the video filmed on the plot, with the hills and the water behind, Matheus shows the base the client built.

Once the home was set down, Zé Pedro was the one who opened its door: the stained-glass door with red diamonds, next to the wall lamp.

The keys

Matheus handed the keys to Zé Pedro personally, at the door of the home. It is the last photo of this route in the gallery and the moment in the video “Mobile home delivered in Montalegre: handing over the keys” on Green Village’s YouTube channel.

What stayed with the client

Green Village does not install homes: the mobile home is delivered and set down on its supports, without levelling. These always stay with the buyer:

  • the base and the levelling — here, the concrete base Zé Pedro built;
  • the water, waste, gas and electricity connections;
  • any licences the municipality requires for the plot.

What this delivery teaches

  1. Build the base before delivery. Zé Pedro built the concrete base before the home arrived; on the day, it only had to be set down.
  2. Have the blocks for the supports on the plot. The blocks Green Village recommends were already there when the home arrived.
  3. Check the access before delivery day. On a mountain plot like the one in Viade de Baixo, the way in matters as much as the plot itself.
  4. See the interior of a used home before choosing. A 2002 home can have a very particular interior, like this Atlas’s Victorian style: ask for photos or a video of the interior before deciding.
  5. Know what warranty it has. A used home has no commercial warranty and carries an 18-month legal guarantee; a new home has the 3-year legal guarantee and a 10-year commercial warranty on the structure and against water ingress.

Other deliveries

In the same month, April 2024, Alexandra’s ABI Arizona and Rafael’s Atlas Debonair reached Ovar, and in June Rosa’s home was set down high above Funchal, in Madeira. In May 2026, Paulo’s used Tudor reached Amarante. The used mobile homes in stock are delivered in mainland Portugal from €12,550, and deliveries across the country are in the guide to mobile homes in Portugal. Photos of this home and of other deliveries, from origin to plot, are in the gallery.
