A narrow street and high-voltage wires: Andreia and Tiago’s home in Gaia

By Matheus Agueda · 3 November 2026

In short: on 8 August 2025 we delivered a cream mobile home with a brown roof, 11.00 × 3.60 m, to Andreia and Tiago on a plot in São Félix da Marinha, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. The home came from the Netherlands. The plot is reached down a narrow street between houses, with high-voltage wires overhead, and Matheus warned that morning that it would be “a delivery that’s going to be a bit difficult”. Andreia and Tiago had closed the purchase in June 2025.

Delivery day

On the morning of Friday 8 August 2025, Matheus was in São Félix da Marinha for the delivery and filmed a video on site. He started with the access: “This street here is a bit narrow, there are high-voltage wires here.” And he warned: “A delivery that’s going to be a bit difficult, folks, but since we like a thrill, here we are.” In the same video he explains where the home came from: “Our client’s home came straight from the Netherlands here to Portugal.”

The photos of this route in the gallery show the home passing down the narrow street, between the houses, and then over the pavement onto the plot. The last one, taken around midday, shows it already set down, in the shade of the trees. That day, Green Village posted three videos of this delivery on TikTok, from the access along the street to the home on the plot.

What stayed with the clients

Green Village does not install homes: the mobile home is delivered and set down on its supports, without levelling. These always stay with the buyer:

  • the base and the levelling;
  • the water, waste, gas and electricity connections;
  • any licences the municipality requires for the plot.

What this delivery teaches

  1. A narrow street does not rule out delivery. Andreia and Tiago’s plot is on a narrow street between houses, and the home reached its place the same day.
  2. Mention the access from the start. A narrow street, high-voltage wires overhead, walls: this is what the team needs to know before delivery day.
  3. The delivery is on record. Green Village posted three videos of this delivery on TikTok the same day, one of them with Matheus explaining the access.
  4. Know what warranty the home has. A used home carries an 18-month legal guarantee, with no commercial warranty; a new home has the 3-year legal guarantee and a 10-year commercial warranty on the structure and against water ingress.

Other deliveries

In the North, in April 2024, two used homes for one family were set down in Ovar, and in December 2024 a used Salisbury reached Guimarães, for Adriana. Further south, in July 2024, a pale-green home went over the wall in Pinheiro da Bemposta, for Maria and David. The used mobile homes in stock are delivered in mainland Portugal from €12,550, and what to know before buying in the region is in the guide to mobile homes in Porto and Northern Portugal. Photos of this home and of other deliveries, from origin to plot, are in the gallery.
