What influences the price?
Condition and age
The difference between a 12-year-old used mobile home and a new one can be 3 to 4 times the price. However, used units from British manufacturers such as Willerby, ABI or Atlas maintain high quality even at 10-15 years, especially if sourced from parks with regular maintenance.
Size and type
A single-wide (one section) covers up to 40 m² and is the most economical option. Twin-units (two sections joined on site) reach 80 m² and offer space equivalent to a conventional 3-bedroom home. See mobile home types in detail.
Insulation and specification
Units with BS 3632 insulation (British standard for permanent residential use) cost 15-25% more than seasonal models, but save significantly on heating — relevant for northern Portugal and highland areas.
Transport
Transport cost depends on the distance and the unit's origin. At Green Village, transport is included in the delivered price shown on each product page; for a specific case, we send an exact written quote on request.
Additional costs to consider
With Green Village, delivery, positioning and connection to the utility points already on the plot (water, electricity, drainage) are included in the price. What stays the owner's responsibility, organised with a local contractor, is land preparation where the plot needs it (platform, access road, supply points up to the connection point) and optional extras:
- Deck or outdoor veranda: 1,500 - 5,000 EUR (optional)
- Skirting (underside cladding): 500 - 1,500 EUR (optional)

How to save on your purchase
- Consider recent used units (3-8 years) — the best quality-price ratio on the market
- Buy at the end of summer — British parks renew their stock between September and November
- Compare the final delivered price — at Green Village, transport and customs clearance are already included in the price shown on the listing
- Compare final prices — never compare an EXW price with a delivered price
