A hard-to-reach plot in Camacha: the 2-bedroom Atlas delivered on the island of Madeira
By Matheus Agueda · 3 November 2026
In short: on 7 November 2024 we delivered a beige 2-bedroom Atlas mobile home of 42 m², with a bay window, to a client in Camacha, in the municipality of Santa Cruz, on the island of Madeira. The plot is on a hillside and hard to reach, as Matheus showed on video that morning. Before noon, the home was in its place.

Arriving in Camacha
The home left Green Village’s store on the mainland for the island of Madeira. On the morning of 7 November 2024, Matheus was in Camacha to follow the delivery and filmed it: “Today we’re here in Camacha, on the island of Madeira,” he says at the start of the video, “we’re making the delivery to our client” (translated from Portuguese).
The arrival video, posted on Green Village’s TikTok the same day, starts while it is still dark, with the home going through a tunnel on its way to Camacha, and ends in daylight, with the Atlas on the plot among the green of the hillside.

A hard-to-reach plot
The client’s plot is on a hillside in Camacha, next to a narrow road, with a gravel platform prepared for the home. “You can see here a place that is very hard to reach,” Matheus shows in the video. “We always do everything to make sure the delivery is perfect for our client.”
The last photo of this route in the gallery, taken before noon, shows the Atlas set down on the platform, with the door open and two people at the entrance.
What stayed with the client
Green Village does not install homes: the mobile home is delivered and set down on its supports, without levelling. These always stay with the buyer:
- the base and the levelling — here, the gravel platform that was already prepared on the plot;
- the water, waste, gas and electricity connections;
- any licences the municipality requires for the plot.
What this delivery teaches
- A hard-to-reach plot does not rule out delivery. The Camacha plot is on a hillside, next to a narrow road, and the home was in its place before noon.
- The base is ready before the home arrives. The gravel platform was already prepared when the Atlas arrived.
- In Madeira, the trip to the island is part of the delivery. The home left the mainland store and was delivered to the plot, with transport organised by Mobile Home Logistic.
- Check the floor area and bedrooms before choosing. This Atlas has 42 m² and 2 bedrooms, with a bay window at the front.
- Know what warranty the home has. A used home carries an 18-month legal guarantee, with no commercial warranty; a new home has the 3-year legal guarantee and a 10-year commercial warranty on the structure and against water ingress.

In June 2024, Rosa’s home, a used 3-bedroom English home, was delivered in São Gonçalo, in Funchal. Delivered prices on the island, and what to know before buying, are in the guide to mobile homes in Madeira, and deliveries across the rest of the country are in the guide to mobile homes in Portugal.
