Inside a lodge: galvanised chassis, 2.50 m ceilings and an island kitchen

Published in August 2024, this short video walks through a lodge just before it was due to be transported. It starts underneath: the home sits on a galvanised chassis, which makes the steel more resistant to rust. Inside, a wide front door opens onto a spacious living room with double glazing, a 2.50 m ceiling height and an electric fireplace, and sliding doors separate the living room from the kitchen.

The bright kitchen has an island counter, a combination microwave oven, a cooker, an extractor hood and a fridge. The sleeping area has a single bedroom and a main bedroom with a wardrobe, left closed because the home was ready for transport, and the tour ends in a bathroom with a bath. Green Village, an importer and dealer founded in 2023, filmed the home before dispatch to show its actual fittings.
